Kori K. Stith Sr. is the Lead Pastor and Teacher of The Father's House of Baltimore, which he leads alongside his wife, Apostle Yolanda Stith. People who sit under him describe the same two things: wisdom that holds your attention, and the message of Jesus delivered with clarity and power. He was ordained on March 23, 2013, the same day she was commissioned as an apostle, and they have built the house together ever since.
Before the pulpit there was a life that nearly ended, a story he tells without decoration in No Glass Shattered. That testimony is the engine of everything he does. It is why he gives himself to mentorship, pouring into men and young people across Baltimore and beyond, and why his conviction is so specific: a man has to learn how to be a son before he can be anything else.
He says the most important part of pastoring happens after church, when the service ends and people go home to their real lives. That is where he does his work. At the altar with a hand on a man's head, on a football field in November, and in the quiet moments after someone finally admits he needs help.
